What Wedding Earrings Should I Wear?
With so many options to choose from, choosing something that feels like you and adds to your dress, not takes away from your dress, is most important. There are several things to consider when choosing your wedding day earrings. For example, if your dress is beaded and sparkly, you may want to opt for a more simple earring. If your wedding dress is simple, you really can't go wrong with your wedding earring, whether you choose simple or sparkly.
Strapless or Sweetheart
For a strapless or sweetheart neckline, you can opt for longer earrings to draw the eyes to your face. Statement earrings are so fun for a strapless dress.
For a dress with a high neckline, a simple drop earring or stud is the way to go. You don't want to overpower or weigh down the dress with a longer earring.
For a boat neckline dress, a simple stud is the way to go. Similar to a high neckline dress, you want to keep it simple and not overpower your dress with a longer earring. Again, you want to draw the eyes to your face!
We're obsessed with the Suzie Stud
For a lower scoop neck wedding dress, you can opt for studs or dangle earrings! Just keep in mind the general rule of thumb, if your dress is beaded and sparkly, keep your earrings more simple!
Off the Shoulder
For off-the-shoulder dresses, again you can opt for either stud or drop earrings. You can even have fun with length - this is one of the most versatile wedding dress styles as far as selecting your wedding earrings.
For v-neck wedding dresses, a statement or long necklace can be fun! In this case, you would want to keep your earrings simple, and not go for a longer dangle. If you choose to skip the long necklace, you can go for longer earrings with this dress style!
Note: when selecting your wedding earrings, make sure they don't clash with your wedding day necklace or bracelet if you choose to wear either!
